Muchas gracias a todos los que estuvieron a mi lado en este período de duelo y triste en la vida. Afortunadamente Papá ya está en un lugar mejor y descansando. Gracias de nuevo a todos por sus mensajes y apoyo.

Recibimos una nueva noticia, una invitación del equipo de Evangelización de Orcas en Redmond para un entrenamiento de vista previa de Orcas, metimos nuestra solicitud y ya estamos aprobados para ser parte de dicho entrenamiento.

Visual Studio “Orcas” and .NET Framework 3.5 Training Workshop

As a participant in Windows Server 2008 Ascend and Touchdown Early Adoption efforts, we would like to invite you to a Visual Studio “Orcas” and .NET Framework 3.5 training event.   This training event is designed to help you understand some of the new features that will be included with “Orcas” so you can determine how to utilize these features within your applications.   This is not a regularly scheduled event.  Rather this is a special event that we have organized to help you accelerate your knowledge and use of “Orcas”.  

This training event will cover key topics such as:

• Language Integrated Query (LINQ)
• Building Web Applications using “Orcas”
• Building Smart Client Applications using “Orcas”, WPF, and “Cider”
• Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) in “Orcas»
• Extending the Office Fluent UI with VSTO
• Web Programming with WCF (RSS, REST, and AJAX)
• Workflow Services
• New features in Visual Basic 9 and C# 3.0

These sessions will be presented by product team members and Microsoft evangelists who specialize in these technologies.   In addition to the presentations, we will also have hands-on labs that you can take with you and run through after the event.
